Review of Pizza Hut's New Bigizza in Chicken Royale

So Pizza Hut has just launched this new pizza called Bigizza. It is supposedly has "Big Size, Big Taste, Big Choice".

The pizza base is thin, with a thin crust as pictured above. And guess who just got a better camera? ;)

The pizza dough is topped with cheese sauce (no ketchup or pizza sauce this time!) and then a layer of cheese, followed by toppings - chicken, spicy chicken, chicken sausage and BBQ chicken. In almost every bite you will get some flavor of chicken to chew along with your pizza bread. No onions or veggies on this one, so true chicken lovers will love this! The pizza is not overfried/cooked/baked (whatever they do to the pizzas), and tastes just right. The bread is great too - not heavy, but not light and fluffy as to make it less filling.

I seriously have no complaints about this pizza. Overall a big hit with me and my family. A fabulous pizza with the perfect amount of garnishing and an incredibly full of chicken-y goodness!

Mozza Burger from A&W Restaurant Bangladesh

On beautiful rainy days, one feels like having khichuri and goru bhuna. I, on the contrary, felt like stuffing myself with a delicious burger today! I originally set out to get something light, like chicken strips or the new spicy rice meal (reviews on those coming up soon!) but when I entered A&W, I impulsively ordered the Mozza Burger because I had been quite curious as to how "amazing" it really is, and whether it lives up to the hype!

The burger comes packed with a beef patty (if you choose single), a cheese slice, tomatoes, dill pickles, lettuce and Mozza sauce. The flavor is good, and the burger is not too big, but satisfying. It is "just a burger" - nothing too special in my opinion. I did not feel the Mozza sauce to be unique - the burger was not even too cheesy. I also always get a weird smell from A&W burgers, kind of like a bad mustard-y smell. I am not sure if it's from the mustard, or from the bun itself. The smell is very off-putting, and is the reason why I won't have any more A&W burgers. I had previously tried the cheaper Beef Cheeseburger, and it had this smell, so I thought the bad smell is because of cheaper ingredients or something, but I was wrong. For a slightly pricey burger, this is an issue.

Overall I'd say the burger was pretty good, but not as amazing as it is claimed to be. I simply could not get over the smell, and just wanted to finish it up quickly.

Review of Special Beef Cheeseburger from Ramly's Burger (in front of Shimanto Square)

After hanging out in Shimanto Square a little, one may feel the need to get some lunch or an evening snack. Helvetia is always there, but doesn't offer much variety. There are little stalls on the ground floor and directly outside the mall where you can get a variety of snacks, juices and ice-creams.

I brought home a Special Beef Cheeseburger from Ramly's Burger. They cook it right in front of you, grilling the patty and bun fresh. The burger contained the beef patty wrapped up in egg and cheese, and had a slice of cucumber, some ketchup and onions too. It was a delicious, cheesy burger with lots of stuffing and a very mild taste, unlike the spicy burgers you would otherwise get locally. The amount of salt is perfect too. However, it can be a bit messy to eat because there's so much mayo and cheese.

Because it's basically high-quality "street food" and there's no cost of having sitting arrangements, creating a cozy atmosphere or keeping waiters for serving the food, you get the burger at the price of a burger and don't have to pay a whole lot just for the "privileges" that come with enjoying it, say, in a cafe.

At just 160 taka, you get this delicious, creamy, yummy burger you can enjoy without torturing your wallet!

(Sorry I don't have a picture, I just brought it home and gobbled it up because I was hungry! :P)

Chicken Mushroom Pasta from Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut is always a great option whenever one feels the need to put some cheese into their system. Apart from pizzas, one of the dishes Pizza Hut does well is pastas. The creamy Chicken Mushroom pasta is one of my favorites, and never fails to satisfy my hunger or taste buds!

You get a good amount of pasta in the serving dish. The pasta comes with mushroom and cheese sauce, and topped with grated cheese and pepper. The chicken and mushroom bits are stirred in, and the ratio of pasta to chicken and mushroom pieces is perfect. The pasta comes with two slices of plain garlic bread for a crispy bite between all the soft, cheesy chewing!

Although this dish is almost never disappointing, I did once get a bad aftertaste from eating it (possibly because the sauce was a little old or something), and had a stomach-ache later on, so I cannot ensure the quality will always be the same!

Overall, it's a very satisfying and filling dish, and can also be shared if you're not that hungry yourself!
